Rebecca Torrey (Founder) & Judd Grutman (Attorney) of The Torrey Firm recently attended their 12th IR Global conference in San Diego.
They were pleased to of met with 160+ members from over 55 jurisdictions offering an invaluable opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals from across the globe. They shared experiences with the Employment group on the changing tax and employment law implications for remote workers / digital nomads and heard from keynote speakers on negotiations and creating leverage when none exists, and how technology, and globalization are reshaping the economy and our future.
The event highlighted the true nature of working across the U.S. and the importance of building strong connections across the globe. Talking with members at the event was not only incredibly useful for our clients; but helps The Torrey Firm to formulate new ideas, reinforcing the forward-thinking approach they are known for.
We look forward to joining IR Global again at the upcoming Annual Conference in Amsterdam in September and continuing to increase the international capabilities of The Torrey Firm.
